Also make sure your Mac is running macOS High Sierra, supports Metal, and was released from 2012 and above. It is impossible to run Fortnite on Macs before 2012, as they don’t support the Metal graphics API.
Anyway, let’s get to it. If you’re running Fortnite on a MacBook, a MacBook Air, or a MacBook Pro here are the settings you should be using.
First, MacBook models from 2012 to 2015. Make sure Window Mode is set to Fullscreen. Lower the Display Resolution to 1280×720, or if your Mac doesn’t support this, use 1280×800, or 1344×756 or 1600×900. Turn the Frame Rate Limit to Unlimited.
